Math 53 (Policies)

I will place copies of the best homewor and exam solutions from the students in the class into a section of our Nexus site so that you can use these for examples of how to write up your solutions. You should check this regularly after each assignment. When you come in to see me about a past homework or exam problem, I will expect that you have reviewed the solutions that are in the notebook, and the printed comments that I have handed out to the class.

In past terms, students have not made as much use of this material as I think they should. Since there will be solutions to all the turned-in material at this site, it is an important resource for you. Please be sure to use it when you have questions about a problem.

Note that I retain copyright to the material that I produce, and it should not be shared or duplicated without my permission. In particular, it should not be uploaded to "study" websites for sharing with others. This includes the quizzes and exams themselves, as well as any solutions or comments that I write up for your use.
