Please see the schedule below. There is a Quiz at the end of class each Tuesday. They cover the material I went over from the previous week. The quiz problems will come directly from the Homework problems. So there should be no surprise. The goal of the quizzes is to give you a quick check of understanding. This is why it's important that you really understand the homework problems and take them seriously. If you are struggling with the homework, please don't be shy and come see me during my office hours. I am here to help. If office hours don't work for you, then please contact me to set up a meeting.
I don't accept late work or allow make up quizzes, but keep in mind that everybody will get at least 2 quizzes dropped. So don't worry if you miss one since everyone has 2 freebies.
Again, I can't stress enough the importance of coming to office hours if you have any questions about the course, I'm here to help.

After each class, you will be expected to complete every problem below related to the section covered in class. You should try completing each problem without consulting the solutions. After you've done all the problems for that chapter, you should then check your answers. If you still don't understand the solutions to the problems you got wrong, you should come to office hours and ask me. Please do not hesitate to come to office hours for help on the Homework.
