      After each class, you will be expected to complete everyproblem below related to the section covered in class. You should try completing each problem without consulting the solutions. After you've done all the problems for that chapter, you should then check your answers. If you still don't understand the solutions to the problems you got wrong, you should come to office hours and ask me. Please do not hesitate to come to office hours for help on the Homework.

    • There will be a quiz on every Wednesday and Friday, unless it says otherwise on the class schedule below. It covers all the material since the last quiz. Please see the schedule below. The quiz problems will come directly from the Homework problems. So there should be no surprise. This is why it's important that you really understand the homework problems and take them seriously. If you are struggling with the homework, please don't be shy and come see me during office hours. I am here to help. If office hours don't work for you, then please contact me to set up a meeting.
      I do not allow make up quizzes or Exams. Keep in mind that everybody will get at least 2 (or maybe more) quizzes dropped. I will decide how many to drop by the end of the semester. So please don't worry if you miss one, or two.
      Again, I can't stress enough the importance of coming to office hours if you have any questions about the course.
