AMS SPECIAL SESSION IN ALGEBRAIC TOPOLOGY
IN HONOR OF BILL SINGER


Saturday and Sunday

There will be eighteen 20-minute talks at this special session (see program below), and Paul Goerss will give a one-hour talk on Bill Singer's work at 5:30 on Saturday. There will be a banquet in Bill's honor on Saturday night.

As usual with AMS sectional meetings, there is no money available for honoraria or travel support. There is a modest registration fee ($40 AMS members, $60 nonmembers, $5 students).

Middletown is the home of Wesleyan University, where the conference will be held. It is approximately two hours drive from both Boston and New York City. The closest airport is Bradley International (BDL), about a 40-minute drive away.

The AMS has a list of hotels for LODGING. Don't forget to arrange for a place to lay your head after the banquet! Also, please remember to register for the meeting when you arrive at Wesleyan.
