Under Olivier's careful direction, the firm of Pixii, Père et Fils, fabricated the models, though there is evidence that some of them may have been made, in part, by his own hand.

Olivier designed perhaps as many as 50 or more separate models.

Union's collection consists of at least 45, and is one of the most complete in the world.
