A few years prior to his death, Olivier donated a nearly complete set of
models to Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, and Pearson's
diary mentions "a third set in Madrid."
Copies of the models continued to be maufactured at least until the 1870's,
this time by one Fabre de Lagrange. West Point has nearly 30, and Harvard
has at least 24 of the Lagrange models in their collection.
The German Shilbing Company produces a nearly complete set for Columbia
University, and in 1882, Princeton had most of these duplicated.
