Caveats for Including TeX in HTML
When using
TEX
embedded in an HTML page, there are some issues you need to keep in mind:
- The single-dollar delimiters are disabled by default, so if
you want to use
$...$ for in-line math, you need to enable
that.
- The HTML special characters (<, >, &)
can cause problems for the
tex2jax preprocessor.
(Put spaces around them.)
- Comments in the
TEX
code can cause problems for Internet Explorer.
(End comments with
<br /> .)
