Adding Handles Tightly

Given a tight immersion, it is always possible to add a handle without
losing tightness.
So we want tight immersions of the sphere, projective plane and Klein bottle with as few handles as possible. We've already have a tight sphere and a tight Klein bottle with a handle, so the projective plane still must be considered. |
