DPVC (CV/Art)

NYJM Animated Logo This is an animated log for the electronic version of the New Your Journal of Mathematics , which the editor commissioned after hearing me lecture at the State University of New York at Albany. The image is of an immersion of the real projective plane (Boy's surface) made from yellow glass rotating above, and reflected in, large metallic block letters spelling "NYJM". The animation is really only one third of a revolution --- symmetry takes care of the rest.
