   You are on the road to the afterlife, and you know that the region you must pass through is populated by devils and angels. Both look exactly alike (after all, the devils were angels before the fall), but you know that an angel will always tell the truth while a devil always will lie.

   You see two creatures in the path ahead of you. You do not know if they are both angels, both devils, or one of each.

   1. One of them says "My companion is an angel, but I'm not" What type of creature is the speaker, and what type is the companion? Why?
   2. One of them says "If my companion is not an angel, then neither am I." What type of creature is the speaker, and what type is the companion? Why?
   3. One of the two says "I can say 'Both of us are devils.'" What type of creature is the speaker, and what type is the companion? Why?
