Math 127 Grading Policy:

All work must be completed and handed in to receive a passing grade for this course.

Your grade will be computed from your scores on the weekly problem sets, the hour exams, the final, and any homework that I collect.

See the homework, problem sets, and exam policy pages for details on the policies concerning them, and see the course calendar for the schedule of the problem sets and exams. See the registrar's schedule for the time and location of the final exam.

The components have the following weights:

Problem sets 35 %
Hour Exam 1 15 %
Hour Exam 2 20 %
Final Exam 25 %
Homework 5 %
A late or missing problem set will count as a zero. There will be no make-ups for problem sets, and there will be no make-up exams without my prior approval at least a week in advance.

The department has a policy of not giving final exams early, regardless of the reason. Recently, many math finals have been scheduled on the last day of exams and you should make travel plans accordingly.
