Math 10 Grading Policy:

All work must be completed and handed in to receive a passing grade for this course.

Your grade will be computed from your scores on the weekly quizzes, the hour exams, the final, and any homework that I collect.

See the homework, quiz, and exam policy pages for details on the policies concerning them, and see the course calendar for the schedule of the quizzes and exams. See the registrar's schedule for the time and location of the final exam.

The components have the following weights:

Quizzes 30 %
Hour Exam 1 20 %
Hour Exam 2 20 %
Final Exam 25 %
Homework 5 %
A late or missing quiz will count as a zero, but your lowest quiz grade will be dropped. There will be no makeup quizzes, and there will be no makeup exams without my prior approval at least a week in advance.

The department has a policy of not giving final exams early, regardless of the reason. Recently, many math finals have been scheduled on the last day of exams and you should make travel plans accordingly.
