This article was included in the original prototype of the CVM that was
produced as part of the NSF grant application for the funds to begin the
journal. Since then it has gone through at least two major revisions, in
response to comments by readers from various levels. The new table of
contents is designed to facilitate easy movement from one topic to another,
and the "tetraview" framework for viewing projections of complex function
graphs from four-space is a totally new approach to the interactive
investigation of hyperspace objects.
