52. From problem 51 we see a single-step perturbation requires changing s by more than 10%. So increasing s by the maximum amount to 1.65 we obtain the point x = 1.65*(1 - 0.66) = .561. Can we change s to take this point to 0.6? We need s*(1 - 0.561) = .6. That is, s = 1.367. Since this is within 10% of 1.6, this 2-step perturbation takes us to the fixed point 0.6.
