(c) The delay plot with delay 3 gives two points: (1,2) and (2,1).

(d) The delay plot from a 2-cycle always gives two points. If the delay is a multiple of the cycle length, the delay plot points will lie on the line x_n+1 = x_n. (To check the "multiple of" part, do a delay plot with delay 4.)
