Pascal's Triangle

Under the direction of: Paul Friedman

There are many interesting patterns in Pascal's Triangle. Some of them don't become overly apparent until the entries in the triangle are reduced mod $p$ (for a prime $p$). And when this is done, a wonderous world opens up.

This is a one term thesis topic. Prerequisite: Math 221 or 235 or permission of instructor.
