Riemann Surfaces

Under the direction of: Christina Tonnesen-Friedman

Following Bernhard Riemann (1826-66), we will use complex analysis and the analytic continuation of a ''many-valued'' function to motivate and define Riemann Surfaces. A background in complex analysis (MTH 330) is useful.

This could be a 1-term or 2-term thesis.
