NCTM Animated Logo The is one of several proposed animated logos for the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) created by Tom Banchoff and me based on a design of Banchoff's. The NCTM was planning to spend a large amount of money for a professional firm to design a logo for them, but Tom felt that we could come up with something good for less than that. This is just a prototype, so it does not have the polish of a final product, but it has been well received by the NCTM. We have not yet heard if they wish to move forward with this design, however.
