JOMA Cover The prototype issue of the new electronic publication, The Journal of Online Mathematics and its Applications , incorporated a copy of the image "Cusps of Gauss Mappings" that was commissioned for the the MAA recruiting effort in the fall of 2000. It is seen here in the public announcement made in the Focus newsletter of the MAA. The image appeared only in the prototype issue; the actual first issue of JOMA did not end up using it. "Cusps of Gauss Mappings" is discussed more fully in the page on MAA recruiting latter .
